History

Kaleolani is a volleyball club that was formed by the Director, Garry Loo.  The club was formed in 1990 and has done very well in the years that follow. It first started as a means for the girls to continue to play volleyball when the Parks & Recreation Leagues had ended and the appetite for VB was fresh in the minds of the players!  

 

Kaleolani has always been competitive.  We do compete in USAV tournaments against all teams including Jammers, Impact, and OVC.

We have been primarily a Competitive team but have also helped out as a developmental team playing in Parks & Recreation tournaments.  

In the past we have had age groups starting from 10 and under all the way to a women’s team who has participated in the Haili Volleyball tournament in Hilo, Hawaii. We regularly participate in the Waimea, Kauai tournaments and have done well. We have also traveled in the past to California & the Big Island.  

 

The coaches try to push each individual player to their full potential, thus enabling the teams to prosper!
